Riyadh, Feb. 07, 2023, SPA -- The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The report said that Jawf and Northern Borders regions will be affected by active winds, along with dust storms, reducing the horizontal sight and the sky will be partly cloudy, accompanied by thunderstorms on some parts these regions.
The report added that light snow will be forecasted to fall on heights of Tabuk region ( Jabal- Al Lawz- Alaqan-Al Dhahr), while the dusty winds will be active on some parts of Makkah, Madinah and Tabuk regions, extending to some parts of Hail, Qassim, Eastern and Riyadh regions, as the most regions of the Kingdom will witness low temperatures.
The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly at speed of 25-50km/h on northern and central parts and westerly to northwesterly at speed of 15-35km/h, on the southern part and southerly at speed of 25-45km/h, on Bab el-Mandeb Strait, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southeasterly to southerly at speed of 15-35km/h, on northern and central parts, gradually turning, southwesterly at speed of 20-45km/h, and easterly to southeasterly at speed of 15-35km/h on southern part.
