Geneva, February 07, 2023, SPA -- The World Health Organization expressed its deepest thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its rapid response to the catastrophic earthquake that hit Syria and Türkiye yesterday.
In a special session of the 152nd session of the Executive Council of the WHO, held in Geneva, on the response to this disaster, the Executive Director of the WHO, Dr. Michael Ryan, expressed his deepest thanks and appreciation for this large degree of support, and the Kingdom's rapid provision of aid, in terms of providing supplies and sending emergency medical teams.
